1. This promotion is open to UK Mastercard^® cardholders holding a contactless Mastercard or a Mastercard loaded into Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay. 

2. The promotion will run from 00:01 on 16/10/2017 to 23:59 on 05/11/2017 inclusive (“Promotional Period”).

3. To participate, cardholders must use their contactless Mastercard or a Mastercard loaded into Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay to complete a journey on the Transport for London (TfL) network. This includes travel on London Buses, London Underground, London Trams, Docklands Light Railway, London Overground, TfL Rail, Emirates Air Line, and most National Rail services in London (where a yellow card reader is present) during the Promotional Period. 

4. Excludes travel on Thames Clipper River Bus services. 

5. To complete a qualifying journey, cardholders must touch their contactless Mastercard or Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay device on a yellow card reader at the start and end of each journey made by London Underground, Docklands Light Railway, London Overground, TfL Rail, Emirates Air Line, and most National Rail services (where a yellow card reader is present) in London (or any combination of these) and at intermediate points where required. On London Buses and London Trams cardholders are only required to touch in at the start of their journey. 

6. For each valid completed journey Mastercard will donate the value of one school meal to the World Food Programme (WFP). The average price of one WFP school meal is £0.20. 

7. The WFP is the world’s largest humanitarian organization fighting hunger. WFP delivers food assistance in emergencies and works with communities around the world to improve nutrition and build resilience.

9. WFP does not endorse any product or service. 

10. Under 18’s will require guardian/parental consent to take part.

12. To the fullest extent possible in law, neither Mastercard nor agencies involved in this promotion will be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever caused by matters relating to this promotion.

13. Mastercard will not process your personal data for the purpose of this activity. Only the total number of qualifying Mastercard transactions will be identified when the final donation to the WFP is made.

14. Participants can request the current or final total of contributions made by Mastercard to the World Food Programme by contacting mastercard.promotions@biggroup.co.uk. 

15. By participating in this promotion, Mastercard cardholders will be deemed to be bound by and have accepted these terms and conditions.

16. Any question concerning the legal interpretation of the rules will be based on English law and the Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.

17. In exceptional circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to vary these terms and conditions or withdraw the promotion at any stage.
